Butte’s students are “connected”! The Butte School District, in a public/private partnership with MERDI and FatBeam, built a brand new 2 gigabit fiber network deploying the fastest, most reliable and most adaptable connectivity to all Butte School District students—the only such network in the State.   In fact, this connectivity rivals Google Fiber’s much published 1Gigabit offering in only a few US cities.
